It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Pedro Burgos. Pedro dedicated 14 years of his life to working at the FICO farm, where he made a lasting impact as a machinery operator. Recently, many of us knew him as the friendly face driving the water trucks, ensuring the dust was kept at bay. His unwavering dedication and commitment to his work were evident to all who knew him.

Pedro’s battle with cancer was courageous, but sadly, he passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. Those who worked alongside him describe Pedro as a good friend—charismatic, generous, and always happy. His infectious spirit and warm personality made him a cherished part of our team and community.

We deeply feel the loss of Pedro and extend our most sincere condolences to his family during this difficult time. Pedro’s service will take place in Phoenix, where his family resides. The viewing will be held from Thursday, June 20th at 5 pm until Friday, June 21st at 9 am.

May Pedro’s memory continue to inspire us, and may he rest in peace.
